DMS 46,000 BTU "Race" Transmission Cooler Kit for the 2014+ Chevy SS Sedan
Keep transmission temperatures under control with the DMS Plug & Play Automatic Transmission Cooler Kit for the 2014+ Chevrolet SS Sedan.
This kit features the Derale 46,000 BTU stacked-plate transmission cooler and is designed as a complete, vehicle-specific solution with no need to piece together universal lines, fittings or mounting hardware. This kit also retains the factory windshield washer tank, maintaining the functionality and clean packaging of the original vehicle. The only modifications necessary is cutting the factory cooler bracket and trimming the cooling duct, please see images. This can be accomplished easily with a grinder, Sawzall or cutoff wheel.
The "Race" version is designed to remove the OEM transmission thermostat and lines running through the radiator. This keeps transmission temps in check without adding heat from the engine —especially important for vehicles operated in hotter climates.
