LSA Steam port stainless steel tee fitting replacement
The plastic tee fitting on the 09-15 Cadillac CTS-V is a common failure point. It's all too common to have a random smell of coolant or a steady coolant leak from these tee fittings. One is located on top of the radiator near the throttle body and the other is located near the drivers side fender. If you want to replace both of these you will need to order a quantity of TWO. This tee fitting is manufactured out of stainless steel and will never fail like the OEM version.
Installion is simple, with completely cool engine. Cut the factory plastic tee fitting clamps (not the hose). Pull the hose off the factory tee, replace the tee with the stainless steel DMS tee. Install and tighten clamps. Top off coolant with 50/50 decool water.
