Kaizen Relay PWM harness for 5Th Gen Camaro or Gen 2 CTS-V and Pierburg CWA400 Intercooler Pump
The CWA400 is a beast of a coolant pump but it comes at the cost of high amp draw on your electrical system. Over time this will reduce the life of the charging system and the pump itself. The fact is the coolant pump doesn't need to run full speed all the time so we got together with Kaizen Speed to utilize their CAN based relay. The Kaizen relay receives data directly from your CTS-V CAN messaging system to control the CWA400 pump speed. A detailed explanation of pump control will be listed below but the Kaizen relay will look at things like intake air temp, vehicle wheel speed, throttle position and engine RPM to dictate the duty cycle of the coolant pump. Only pushing the pump hard when necessary.

Operating parameters:
- Engine running = 35% duty cycle
- Accel Pedal > 50% = 100% duty cycle
- Cruise Control button latched = 100% duty cycle
- IAT > 135 degrees = 100% duty cycle
