DSX Tuning Billet LT4 Supercharger Lid With Port Plate Clearance
These LT4 specific supercharger covers are intended for vehicles (specifically the C7 Corvette with 2017+ hood liner) to clear the hood liner when using port injection plates and a stock LT4 super charger, eliminating the need to space the cradle down or remove the hood liner. These still fit all LT4 superchargers and will increase sound over both styles of factory lid. This lid more closely matches the OEM lid with straight edges and smooth contouring inside, and like our original lid, this picks up some power over the old pancake lid on the early LT4s. Tuning may be required and gains may vary depending upon your modifications.
This lid will also clear the factory strut bar on the 2016-2019 CTS-V without the need to modify the strut bar or shim it, but port plates will require removing the strut bar either way. Factory plastics will not fit, and the factory fuel line clips will not secure back down on the bolts unless you get the optional $12 stand offs. The stand offs are not used on Camaros or Corvettes.
