DMS Trunk Mounted Ice tank and Pump Kit - 16+ CTS-V
Lets face it, supercharges make a lot of heat. The best way to fight the heat is with coolant volume and flow. This trunk mounted ice box will add a little over 6 gallons to your supercharger system while providing an easy way to ice the system down before each run. Trunk space is always a concern so we mounted this tank in place of the passenger side plastic cubby hole.
Each tank is laser cut from 1/8 5052 aluminum, formed and hand tig welded. These tanks come standard with a 5" Billet lid for easy filling, 3/4 feed and return lines. Fluid transfer is provided by a Pierburg CWA-150 used in conjunction with the OEM coolant pump. During our testing we found an additional 1.5 gallons per minute of flow by retaining the OEM coolant pump. Installation is as streamlined as possible but does require drilling a few holes. We minimized the hole drilling by intigrating the drain valve into the pump feed line.

It's common for people to run tanks with the big boy CWA400 until they realize the flow rate will drop to 9.70 GPM with -12an lines and a long run from the trunk. This makes the CWA150 the better choice, higher flow rate (10.5 GPM), lower cost, lighter weight and more than half the amperage consumption. We tested these combos so you don't have to, saving you time and money.
