Due to the unique steering column and rack design found in the IS300, we had to engineer a new high-flow header system for the LS swap. These headers are made from CNC mandrel-bent 1.75 inch mild steel tubing and are hand welded here in the US of A. The collectors are 3 inches in diameter and include 3 inch v-band flanges and clamps for exhaust fabrication.
Tolerances are tight on these, as you may notice. To make the best use of the space we have, the driver side header utilizes an opening between the Number 4 runners for steering shaft clearance. Finally, our headers are ceramic coated in order to provide a thermal barrier, which serves to lower under-hood temps and prolong the life of engine components (including the headers themselves). The ceramic coating also leaves the headers with a nice polished look.
